Hello Professor Thomas and Class!!! This is it!!! Professor Thomas - THANK YOU!!! You have helped me a great deal:) This is the third time I have taken this class. I have struggled with this class for quite some time now. Writing papers has proven to be extremely challenging for me. I finally achieved success!! I feel so relieved, you have no idea. I was told that if I did not pass this time around I could not continue with my education. I have been very nervous for 9 weeks!! I learned a great deal this time around and it will stick me for a long time to come. The first professional letter that I write in my new career, I will remember this class!! Thanks again Professor Thomas:) Cynthia Hayward

Hi everyone! I am putting the final touches on my paper and am relieved that it is done. This is the first paper that I actually feel pretty good about. I learned a great deal from this class and feel more confident in my writing skills. I believe writing is a gift and a true talent. I do not enjoy it that much, but I feel confident I can now produce a professional paper. This course will prove to be a valuable tool as I hope to become a medical office manager. I will surely have to write professional letters and documents. Thank you Professor Thomas for a great class:)

It is hard to believe that Unit 8 starts tomorrow!! Last night's seminar was amazing! Lots of helpful tips to get my final paper on the right track. I have honestly never felt this good about a paper before. It is finally sinking in. I always thought that a straight forward research paper was the easiest, but now a paper that causes debate interests me. I am looking forward to reading my classmates papers because their topics are interesting. The topic that surprises me the most is bullying in the workplace. It is all over the news how bullying among children has become an epidemic. We now know where they get this kind of behavior from!! Good luck to all my classmates on success with your papers.

Hi everyone! Working hard on my rough draft this week and looking forward to the Thanksgiving holiday. I am enjoying reading my classmates outlines on their chosen topics. Time is flying by quickly. This class will be over before we know it. I am also currently working on another project for the class called diseases and conditions. Writing all these papers will prove to be an asset as we learn about the topics we write about. The more education we receive through these projects, the more valuable we will become in helping patients in our future careers. I still have a lot of work to do and will end my post till next week.

Hi Class. There is a brand new hospital being built down the street from where I live. It is estimated to be completed the same time I graduate from Kaplan. This piece of news has got me excited to work hard towards graduation. I honestly do not enjoy writing 10 page papers, but I am learning a lot from the topics I choose from each class. This information will stay with me for a long time. The more papers I write the easier it becomes. I enjoy reading the topics that my fellow classmates have chosen as well. In the past I have procrastinated doing the research and the end result is a sloppy paper. This time I am on the ball and want to write a good paper. I still have quite a bit of work to do so I will get to it. Good luck all until next week.

Hello everyone! I am having great success with the KU Library. I am still gathering information on my topic, which is fetal alcohol syndrome. I am still not sure what stand I will take, so my thesis is not yet done. I have been very busy traveling lately. It is a relief to know that you can just pack your laptop and continue with your school work no matter where you are. I have taken Professor Thomas's advise and I read one article a night before bed. It really does help to get through the research. I have actually started to read more than one, as I have come across a lot of information. I feel the hardest part of our paper is the research and coming up with a solid thesis. Once I have accomplished those 2 things, the rest falls in place. The thesis can help me start an outline and then the rough draft is much easier. I wish everyone the best of luck on their papers!

Hello Professor Thomas and Class,

I am in the process of research for my paper. I am taking the professor's advice and gathering twice as much research than what is suggested. I do not know what stand I am going to take on my topic yet. I always do only what is required and it does not always pay off. I want to go above and beyond what is required so that I can get a good grade. In unit 9 when the paper is due, it is worth 250 points!! That is a great deal of points and we can use all of them!!!!! I hope everyone is having success on their research. I do appreciate all the papers I have written so far here at Kaplan. I now have more knowledge on topics such as the pancreas and the liver. This information can only make me better prepared for the medical field i am about to enter. Talk to you all next week:)
